"Building Bridges, Not Barriers"

Why Run

I am running because I believe in a brighter, more inclusive Idaho. As an HCA caregiver, I see the potential for positive change every day. My passion is to ensure everyone, especially those with disabilities and our seniors, feels included and supported.

Accessibility and Inclusivity: Let's make public meetings accessible for all.

Senior Services: Inspired by my Great Grandmother, we'll create senior-friendly infrastructure.

Economic Development: By supporting small businesses, we can turn dreams into reality.

With 14 years of legislative experience and a heart for caregiving, I'm ready to bring optimism and practical solutions to District 6 Seat A.

Together, we can build bridges and create a thriving community for everyone.

Self

Hello,

I am Ryan Augusta,  and running for the Idaho House of Representatives - District 6 Seat A. My journey as a dedicated HCA Caregiver and an Independent non-partisan candidate has shaped my focus on key issues that deeply impact our community.

Accessibility and Inclusivity in Public Meetings is a priority. As an HCA Certified In-Home Caregiver, I firmly believe that we can reduce poverty and increase inclusion by providing reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities.

My experience has taught me the importance of approaching these challenges with a compassionate mindset, grounded in the lived experiences of those navigating our less than equitable infrastructure.

Aging and Senior Services:

My commitment to senior-friendly infrastructure is inspired by my Great Grandmother Dorothy Garvin, who founded the Agency on Aging with the powerful mantra, "What are we going to do about it?" In her spirit, I will continually ask ourselves this question as we work to influence compassionate care structures that empower individuals with the rights and agency they deserve.

My years of caregiving experience will be pivotal in this endeavor.

Economic Development:

Supporting entrepreneurship and small businesses is another cornerstone of my platform. By working within existing small business administration systems, I aim to expand into uncharted territories, offering the basics of innovation to anyone unfamiliar with the process.

This will enable more individuals to fulfill their entrepreneurial dreams, thereby strengthening our local economy.

My Career and Achievements:

My career has been enriched by various roles and accomplishments:

- Successful 501c3 Founder Reminiscence Theater

- Sole Member of U.clean, LLC

- Vice President of Booths for Moscow Renaissance Fair

- Legislative influencer in our Capital of Boise Idaho over 14 years.

Personal Life:

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am a proud father and an active member of our community. I serve as the VP of Booths for the Moscow Renaissance Fair, Co-Founder of Boise Hempfest, Founder of Reminiscence Theater, a committed Rotarian, and ARMY Reserve Veteran. These roles reflect my personality and dedication to the betterment of our community.

Thank you for considering me as your representative. Together, we can make a difference.
